Structural Engineering - specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial structural engineering design.  We use hand calculations, spreadsheets, FEA (finite element analysis) software, and other software to do our structural designs.

Structural Inspections/ Assessments - We work with owners, realtors, prospective buyers and sellers by offering residential, commercial and industrial building structure and non-building structure evaluations.   Our thorough reporting delivers accurate and comprehensive findings in an unbiased and factual manner.

Construction Administration - We provide construction observations where we visit the site periodically during construction to observe progress and quality of work. Periodic observations by Heagerty Engineering LLC can help keep your project on track by alerting the contractor and you of construction errors or defects before city or county inspectors do their inspections.  Some of the other construction administration services that we provide are:  Make recommendations as to correction of deficiencies or defects;  Assist the owner in checking as built drawings in regard to certifying progress payments;  Review contractor submittals and requests for information (RFI).

Bid Documents - When you are planning to solicit bids for your upcoming structural project, you'll want an expert on your side.  We can prepare bid documents for designs and specifications.

Stamped Structural Plans - We stamp structural plans used for obtaining a permit and construction.

Referrals to Architects/ Draftsmen and Contractors (Builders) -  We work frequently with architects, draftsmen, and contractors in the Charleston area.  We can connect you to the right individual for your project.

Structural Letters - We can write a letter to satisfy issues flagged out by building inspectors/officials, where it makes sense, as opposed to revising and re-issuing a complete set of construction documents.
